We are delighted to be meeting this coming Friday for our online meeting with Vesper Stamper.  Born in Germany and raised in New York City, Vesper writes and illustrates novels for young adults which tell, through words and pictures, stories of the ways in which history’s rhymes.  Her debut illustrated novel, What the Night Sings,, which focused on the aftermath of the Holocaust through the eyes of a young musician, won multiple awards.

Following a series of traumatic experiences at a young age, Vesper began to seek solace and purpose in various occult practices, including wicca, transcendental meditation, and astral projection; but she soon became plagued by a sense of profound spiritual oppression that led her to explore and eventually convert to Orthodox Christianity.  That experience also had a transformative impact on her artistic and literary work, which aims to cultivate a rehumanised Christian worldview through artistic thinking.

Please do join us for what is sure to be an engrossing conversation.
